PDC Brother Jorge!
I agree with your thoughts when you said «We become focused on accomplishing goals within the church, which is not a bad thing, but we forget the true mission of making his name known to the world.»
As you say, it is not bad to focus on the goals of our church, but we do tend to forget about the vision and mission that God sent us and this can be a great reminder that maybe we are not fully evangelizing outside because of a certain reason only God knows but we can start of with small gestures that can make a big impact like they say «its the little things that matter». We can start at our jobs, schools, where we go shopping, handing out cards with our church location and days that we have service, starting a small conversation and letting know that they have a living God that loves them, you don’t know how much they are struggling and maybe they needed to hear that. But always pray to God and ask him for guidance. To me, a missional church are the christ believers that understand their primary purpose which is fulfilling God’s mission. and that we understand how we are supposed to live in this world, meaning that we always have to remember who we are and who we stand with. We are different, like brother Abraham mentioned yesterday, we are the salt of the world, we are that seasoning that gives flavor to the world and it tells us that in Mathew 5:13.
But what we need primarily is to learn to obey God and not be wise in our own understanding. -
